Throughout the year we work together to serve the needs of our church members and engage our community with gospel hope. Whether it is cleaning the church, giving an elderly member a ride to church, organizing a toiletry drive for the local food pantry, or sending a team to Belize for a short term mission trip, our desire is to love and serve others both inside and outside our church.

Come to a Sunday worship service to hear about current service projects, but you can see some ongoing service projects below. Most importantly, ask how you can serve. In a small church there are always small things you can do that make a big impact on someone else’s life.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” – Galatians 6:9-10

  • Church Cleaning: teams serve once a month to clean the church.

Join alongside others to help clean the church in preparation for Sunday worship. Responsibilities include taking out the trash, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc. There is already a team designated for each week of the month, so you would be partnering with experienced workers to help direct you. This service opportunity requires around an hour of time. Teams usually meet on a Saturday.

  • Hospitality: host baked goods and drinks for Sunday worship.

Sunday Hospitality serves those who attend Sunday worship by setting up baked goods and drinks for before and after the service. Typically a volunteer would bring a baked good (whether purchased or home made) and arrive a little early to church to set up the hospitality table in the back of the sanctuary. The downstairs church kitchen contains supplies such as coffee, tea, cups, plates, and napkins.
