Our Team
The pastor serves the church as a co-leader alongside other elder(s) who work together to lead public worship and equip church members for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13). The Deacons and Staff work in conjunction with the elders to oversee the hands-on care of the church.
Elders
Ethan Wormell – Pastor
Ethan and his family moved to the Cape in March of 2022. He loves working out in the gym, cycling, playing acoustic guitar, and reading. As a family, the Wormell’s love spending time with friends and family, traveling, and sleeping in! After serving active duty in the Marine Corps, Ethan went on to receive a Master’s of Divinity from Westminster Seminary California.
Ben McCabe – Elder
Ben and his wife Hannah (and 2 children) have lived on the Cape since 2005 and have been members of Forestdale Church for the majority of that time. Ben enjoys board games, reading, and computers, and has a heart for missions and discipleship.
Staff
Taylon McCabe – Audio & Visual
Taylon is a recent high school graduate and coordinates the audio and visual equipment at Forestdale Church. He grew up at Forestdale Church, and his family are active members serving in various aspects of church ministry. In his free time he enjoys playing music and games, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
