Bruce Hanlon

Pastor Hanlon, known as Bruce to the church community, grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and received his Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Gordon- Conwell Theological Seminary. Bruce pastored a church in Framingham for eleven years before serving in international ministry.   In 2010, he moved his family overseas where he taught theology at African Bible College in Malawi while he worked to establish a graduate program for the school.  Two years later he accepted an invitation to pastor an international church in Vienna, Austria.  After almost five years living abroad, the Hanlon family is thrilled to be back “home” in New England.

Bruce’s hope in serving at Forestdale Church is to deliver messages that are “true to God’s heart and to His Word,” and feels that his job is to “equip, encourage and challenge those in the church to actively engage in the work of reaching out to serving one another and community around them.”

He and his wife Sarah have two daughters, Grace and Beth.
